It's funny, I read that scene where they tossed the bag over her head and she got wailed on.
I remember being disappointed, because I'd figured Canary was one of those who could kick considerable butt even without her eyes.

Though I had similar thoughts, my hunch was that GS was planning to develop this plot element over several issues for greater dramatic impact.
